Developer Uncommon Games has officially announced that Animalkind will launch on PC via Steam Early Access on March 30th, 2026. The news premiered just now as part of The MIX x Kinda Funny Showcase, showing a new look at the upcoming wholesome adventure. Following a warmly received Steam Next Fest demo, which introduced online co-op to thousands of players, Animalkind is now preparing to bring its cozy open-world town-building fun to players in full in just a matter of weeks.
Indie developer Uncommon Games has unveiled an all-new gameplay trailer for Animalkind, the cozy open-world builder where adorable pets pilot ancient mechs and build the town of their dreams. In tandem with the trailer, Uncommon Games has launched a free playable demo, now available on Steam. The demo offers a slice of what players can expect of Animalkind’s relaxing exploration, resource gathering, NPC companions, minigames, and online fun with up to 4 people when the full game launches in 2026.
