Cozy Mechs & Cuddly Chaos: Animalkind Premieres New Trailer and Launches a Demo
Indie developer Uncommon Games has unveiled an all-new gameplay trailer for Animalkind, the cozy open-world builder where adorable pets pilot ancient mechs and build the town of their dreams. In tandem with the trailer, Uncommon Games has launched a free playable demo, now available on Steam. The demo offers a slice of what players can expect of Animalkind’s relaxing exploration, resource gathering, NPC companions, minigames, and online fun with up to 4 people when the full game launches in 2026.
This playable slice introduces a redesigned island, a wide range of new decorations for your town, new gameplay elements, as well as some improvements to controller support, the user interface, and more. Please note, however, that the demo does not feature multiplayer co-op, and the feature will be reserved for the full game launch.
