The Long-Awaited Medieval MMORPG Gloria Victis Opens its Doors to Players for the Official Playtest
Prepare for the glorious return of the renowned MMO Gloria Victis as gamigo launches the title’s first public playtest. Starting today, April 20 at 10:30 CEST / 3:30am CST, and running until April 27, 10:30 CEST / 3:30am CST, the medieval title opens its doors to players that have previously signed up to be a part of the playtest, giving them the opportunity to provide feedback and general inquiries about the game’s development.
After the long awaited return of the medieval title after going offline in 2023, the one week playtest will mark the first time players are able to boot up the title after the games’ long hiatus again. The playtest marks the start of the newest chapter for Gloria Victis while bringing back fan-favorite mechanics that helped amass its preceding dedicated player base: epic faction PvP battles, a player-driven economy, and realistic medieval combat, all while serving glorious updated graphics with an emphasis on realism.
Players who registered for the playtest will have one week to explore the detailed open world of Gloria Victis. After that, all progress made during the playtest will be reset, providing both returning and new players a fresh start once the free-to-play title fully launches. Additionally, players who participate in the playtest will receive in-game rewards at launch, including premium currency and character titles.

Player-driven Economy: Look for the best resources and materials out in the world, and capture resource nodes. Use workstations to craft high-quality items, and cooperate with others to increase your efficiency and achieve mastery in one of eight different realistic crafts. Plant your own seeds, tend your crops, and keep them safe from pillaging enemies.
Innovative Partial Loot System: In certain places on the map, you’ll be able to loot defeated enemies and take your reward by selecting which specific items you will loot – but hurry, the clock is ticking!
