Power Wash Simulator, Farming Simulator, there’s a Simulator for everything these days, right?
Wrong!
Dig VR is the new simulation-lite title you never knew you needed! Step into (literally if you like) your steel-toe-capped boots, and jump into the bright yellow digger of your dreams, as revealed during Wired Direct ‘24!
Constructing a new reality in VR, Wired Productions and Just Add Water are delighted to reveal that Dig VR will be launching on Meta Quest and is the first-ever digger game on Quest. A brand new title and a new partnership, this simulator puts players in the driving seat of their own excavators.
Starting off with nothing more than a mini-digger and a dream, players will unearth their cultivating passion in the charming town of Diglington. Progressing from a micro-sized digger to a colossal machine, with a diverse set of attachments to overcome the most challenging of jobs.

"We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of DIG VR, a game that has been a labour of love for our team. From the intricate mechanics to the immersive world, every aspect of DIG VR has been carefully crafted to deliver a truly unforgettable experience,” said Just Add Water. “We couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished together with Wired, and we can't wait for players to dive into the world of DIG VR.”
“DIG VR is a deeply personal game. The idea was conceived during the early days of lockdown, whilst I was stuck in my father's farmland house in Italy, being separated from my team in the UK. Looking for things to do I hired a digger and that eureka moment came - the controls of the digger would be perfect for a VR game. I knew it was a great idea, but it was just that - an idea,” said Leo Zullo, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Publisher Wired Productions.
“I had to find someone who could be entrusted to take the concept and make it into a game, but also someone who could elevate it and push the boundaries of VR hardware. Just Add Water were the best team for this mission. They understood the idea, made it their own, and have truly dug out something special. It’s been a great partnership.”
