MicroProse is excited to announce that Repterra Version 1.0 is OUT NOW on Steam, bringing the base-building survival RTS to its full release after its journey through Early Access.

To celebrate the launch, a brand-new 1.0 Launch Trailer is available today, showcasing Repterra at its biggest and most spectacular: sprawling colonies, dinosaur breeding and riding, powerful factions, devastating technology, and battlefields absolutely packed with prehistoric creatures.

In Repterra, humanity is attempting to reclaim a world overwhelmed by dinosaurs. Players must establish and expand colonies, develop production and defenses, build armies, and turn the planet's greatest threat into one of their greatest weapons.

Dinosaurs can be tamed, bred, genetically modified, and even ridden into battle, opening up combinations of human units and prehistoric creatures with their own abilities. Meanwhile, massive enemy hordes ensure that even the most carefully constructed colony can quickly find itself facing a very large-and very hungry-problem.

Version 1.0 brings together the complete Repterra experience, including the major additions introduced throughout Early Access. These include the Electric Faction, the Custom Level Editor with Steam Workshop support, the Volcano Map, expanded faction content, progression and balancing improvements, and extensive quality-of-life, visual, and performance updates.

Build Massive Colonies
- Construct sprawling settlements, production networks, defenses, and infrastructure while preparing for increasingly dangerous dinosaur attacks.
Huge Dinosaur Hordes
- Repterra's technology supports battles involving 100,000+ dinosaurs, turning late-game encounters into enormous clashes between your defenses, armies, and overwhelming prehistoric swarms.
Tame Dinosaurs
- Turn the creatures roaming the world to your advantage. Lure and tame dinosaurs and add them to your forces rather than simply exterminating everything with teeth.
Breed & Experiment
- Pair dinosaurs in breeding stations and discover what their offspring become. Genetic mutations add another layer of experimentation and customization, while breeding dinosaurs also contributes to long-term progression.
Ride Dinosaurs Into Battle
- Assign Soldiers, Engineers, and Tamers to dinosaurs to create mounted combinations with unique special abilities.
Three Distinct Playable Factions
- Choose between three factions with different units, perks, heroes, and strategic focuses, including the Electric Faction, which brings Shock Troopers, Tesla Coils, advanced electrical technology, and its own Hero to the battlefield.
Upgradeable Hero Units
- Lead your forces with powerful heroes featuring active and passive abilities. Level them up, customize them through genetic mutations, and send them back into battle when they respawn.
