MicroProse Announces June 2 Release Date for Battleship Command
MicroProse is pleased to announce that Battleship Command, the immersive World War II naval simulation that places players in command of the legendary German battleship, will launch in Early Access on June 2, 2026, on Steam.
A new release date trailer is available now, offering a fresh look at the atmosphere, naval combat, and commanding presence of the mighty Scharnhorst at sea.
In Battleship Command, players take command of a 30,000-ton Scharnhorst-class battleship in a deeply immersive WWII naval simulation. From walking the ship’s meticulously recreated decks and interiors in first-person to commanding gunnery, radar, navigation, and fleet maneuvers, players will lead operations across the Atlantic, Arctic, and Mediterranean theaters of war.
Hunt merchant convoys, disrupt Allied supply lines, and engage enemy warships in dynamic battles shaped by changing weather, fog, ocean conditions, and a full day-night cycle. Whether issuing commands to the crew or taking direct control of critical stations, every decision may determine survival at sea.
