UK's leading online game company Jagex announced today that it has signed a contract with Flying Wild Hog to release a new, vibrant, multi-format game. This marks the first signed title for Jagex Partners, Jagex's publishing program.
According to the contract, the game will be released in 2021 and there will be open and closed beta phases that will allow players to play the game even before its release. It will be published on Jagex's new publishing platform, which is being developed with the extensive knowledge and skills that Jagex has gained during nearly two decades of providing live gaming services.
The Poland-based company Flying Wild Hog, which was founded in 2009 and employs more than 250 people in Warsaw, Krakow and Rzeszów, is best known for 'Hard Reset' and the 'Shadow Warrior' series. It was acquired last year by private equity firm Supernova Capital LLP, founded by Paul Wedgwood, former CEO of Splash Damage.
