Duet Night Abyss, a fantasy adventure RPG with high-level freedom developed by Pan Studio under Hero Games, showcased its latest demo at the 2024 Tokyo Game Show on September 26. Ahead of the event, the development team released a new gameplay trailer, revealing exciting in-game content. A TGS special program also highlighted key updates, offering a sneak peek at the official booth and its activities. The exhibit will continue through September 29.

TGS 2024 Gameplay Trailer Showcases New Characters and Weapons

On September 2, Duet Night Abyss officially confirmed its participation in 2024 Tokyo Game Show. Alongside the announcement, a brand-new gameplay trailer was released, highlighting recent development progress. The trailer offers a closer look at the latest in-game combat mechanics, featuring familiar characters from the previous technical test and introducing a new character-Fina.

In the footage, Fina engages in an intense boss battle, showcasing her unique combat style. According to the TGS Special Program, Fina is a fairy tale writer with boundless creativity, capable of summoning imaginary creatures to assist her in combat. Each of the creatures has their unique power, enabling the nearby allies to deal additional elementaldamage.

Special Program Reveals Major Optimizations in Character and In-Game Scene Models

In addition to the TGS gameplay trailer, Duet Night Abyss aired a special program on September 22 featuring Japanese voice actors from the game and an editor from IGN Japan. The program offered a preview of the booth design and activities at the upcoming TGS, and included an interview with the game's producer and art director, DecaBear, conducted by Yui Ishikawa, the voice actor behind "Berenica".
