Cooler Master Brings the GPU Shield Adapter to Europe
Cooler Master, a global leader in PC components and tech-lifestyle solutions, today announces that the GPU Shield Adapter will be available across Europe from next week.
Designed to sit between a graphics card and power supply, the GPU Shield Adapter adds an extra layer of monitoring to compatible 12+4-pin GPU power connections. It helps users identify abnormal current conditions early through real-time visual and audible alerts, while integrated protection can reduce system power consumption during severe electrical abnormalities.
Modern high-performance graphics cards place increasing demands on the complete power path. GPU Shield is designed for gamers, enthusiasts and system builders who want greater visibility of their GPU power connection and an additional safeguard for high-end PC builds.
Intelligent protection for the GPU power connection
GPU Shield monitors abnormal current conditions across individual power pins. A multi-colour LED ring provides real-time visual status feedback, while an integrated audible alarm offers immediate notification when the connector is out of sight.
During severe electrical abnormalities, the adapter’s active protection mechanism automatically reduces system power consumption to help minimise the risk of further connector damage. A dual-colour 12+4-pin connector also helps users verify full insertion at a glance, reducing the risk associated with poor contact or incomplete seating.
