Your dragon's dinner is served: Catan-inspired dice roguelike Feed the Scorchpot out now on Steam

Today Moravian Games and publisher Indieformer have announced that Feed the Scorchpot, a tabletop-inspired roguelike where players create delightfully broken combos to serve a delicious feast to a dangerous beast, is available now on PC via Steam.

Feed the Scorchpot tasks you with surviving a twenty-year pact in exchange for a dragon’s protection. You must serve it dinner every single year - but be careful! If you fail to impress your fiery patron, you’ll discover that chefs are a perfectly acceptable dish for the main course.

Inspired by tabletop board games as much as modern roguelikes, Feed the Scorchpot will have you rolling dice to harvest ingredients, discover recipes, and expand a hex-grid island into an intricate scoring engine. Farms, shrines, harbours, and dozens of other buildings work together to create increasingly outrageous combos, but every year the dragon grows hungrier, pickier, and more likely to reduce you and your carefully constructed cuisine to ash.

With more than fifty buildings, over eighty recipes, and twenty unique dice types to customise every run, no two contracts will play out the same way. Will you race to complete your bargain early for higher scores, or will you tempt fate by staying longer as the dragon’s demands spiral out of control?

Also yes, you can pet the dragon.

Feed the Scorchpot key features:

What Kind of Lawyer Approved This?!: Sign a twenty-year contract with a dragon, balancing survival against increasingly impossible culinary demands. Push your luck by ending the contract early for greater rewards, or endure all twenty years as harsher odds and dragon tantrums threaten your entire board (and life).

  • A Hand-Drawn World: Build an intricate scoring engine using more than fifty buildings including farms, shrines, and harbours that interact across a growing hex-grid island. The entire world is beautifully crafted with every building, ingredient, and meal lovingly illustrated by hand.

  • Michelin-Level Seasoning: Master more than eighty recipes, fusing ingredients to multiply Flavour, Essence, and Fodder into absurdly satisfying score chains.

  • Combo Builder: Customise your dice pool with more than twenty unique dice types, carefully tuning every roll to maximise your chances of survival. Break the game’s math on purpose, discovering spectacularly overpowered combinations before adapting when everything inevitably catches fire. (Pun intended.)

Feed the Scorchpot is the debut title from Moravian Games, the husband-and-wife development team of Jakub (programming) and Daniela (design and art), and marks the first published title in the indie publisher Indieformer’s catalogue.

Feed the Scorchpot is available now on PC via Steam for $14.99 USD / £13.75 GBP / €14,99 EUR, with a 20% launch discount. To celebrate the game’s launch, Feed the Scorchpot is also available in a bundle with the award-winning Balatro, bringing together dragons, jesters, and numeracy!
