Vengeance will be yours in I See Red - coming to Nintendo Switch on February 6th
With great pleasure, RedDeer.Games announces the official release date for Whiteboard Games’ dark and dystopian shooter - I See Red. Players can start their rampage through space on February 6th in full, bloody glory.
Inspired by the bright reds and dark shadows of Ruiner, I See Red is an action-filled roguelike and twin-stick shooter where there is only one mission - vengeance. Here, the surroundings are monochrome, enemies blood RED, and music - HEAVY!
Through space and ships, players will be fighting robots, humans, and aliens alike. If they perish - death is just a stepping stone. They will have a clone waiting for them at the base so they can continue their journey and find out who subjected them to this fate.

With no clear past and no future, players will be pushing ahead without mercy - but with a full armory! I See Red has 22 different guns and melee weapons that players will be able to find during gameplay. From classical pistols and machine guns to lasers and alien spines - the floor is ready to be painted red.
With what - or whom - will it be painted? Well, I See Red has several types of enemies and bosses. Fighting them, stealing their weapons, and getting money is key to enhancing your abilities. Those numerous passive skills make each run unique.
Collecting upgrades is necessary to become stronger and some of them will stay for the long run. While passing through ships, players will find Printing Matter, with which they can upgrade all their future clones.
Become faster, make your swings heavier, or make modifications to the grappling hook, a unique tool the main character will always have by his side. Each death will make the player stronger, and each run will bring them closer to those who pull the strings.
All of this struggle and violence has a point. As players travel, they’ll be unlocking notes, memories, and secrets of Matthew Taurus - the player-controlled executor. He lost everything he valued and thus turned from a policeman to a vengeful outlaw.
From that point onward, the world didn’t matter to him in the slightest - the only thing he needed was a weapon and his next target. And yet there might be something hidden deep within this corrupted mind of his…

Here, each enemy vessel is its own map with treasures, challenges, and secrets. Completing ship after ship increases difficulty so players can test out their new abilities on stronger foes. To accompany them on this journey I See Red has a wonderful, heavy soundtrack that will bring a rhythm to the brutality while players execute enemies with their own hands.
