Valfaris: Mecha Therion demo live now on Steam
A demo for Valfaris: Mecha Therion is available to download now from Steam, publisher Big Sugar is delighted to announce. Launched in advance of next week's Steam Next Fest, the demo gives players a chance to go hands-on with the side-scrolling shoot 'em up for the very first time since it was announced.
The demo features the game's entire second stage and a selection of weapons to sample, including the Hellwraith, a minigun that shoots tormented souls, and Therion's Fist, a giant hammer infused with blood electricity. A single playthrough of the demo will take most players between 15 and 30 minutes.

Developed by Steel Mantis, Valfaris: Mecha Therion is an action-packed side-scrolling shoot 'em up with a satisfying old-school feel and distinct low-poly art style. It's also the sequel to the studio's highly rated action-platformer, Valfaris, which is ranked by Metacritic as the #16 Best PC Game of 2019.
Valfaris: Mecha Therion is scheduled to launch later this year for PC and consoles (Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S).
