Door 407 is happy to announce that Diplomacy is Not an Option receives an update today, on April 20! This update greatly reworks the research tree, which now counts over 100 research options!
Diplomacy is Not an Option is a base-building survival RTS with an active pause, set in a medieval fantasy realm. Players step into the well-worn shoes of the minor Lord, forced to fight…like, all the time! And his enemies always come in hordes! Up to 25,000 enemies can attack your castle at a single time, so you have to master the arts of economy, warfare and magic to have a chance to survive.

The update adds:
A reworked research tree with 100+ research, including branches for Sarranga and Rebel troops, as well as more research for other troops
Some new technologies grant players the ability to see more information about upcoming attacks or deal more damage to enemy defenses with siege weapons - both of which are additions, highly anticipated by players
Improved visuals - some structures received torches to illuminate surrounding areas, and Houses now change their looks under the buff of City Fountains
