Top Hat Studios Showcase Features Massive Debut of Viral Indie Hits
Today, Top Hat Studios, Inc. showcased 20+ games in a dedicated showcase co-hosted by The Media Indie Exchange (The MIX), revealing a slate of blowout titles signed to the US East-coast publisher, as well as numerous updates to current highly anticipated titles.
Amongst the new titles are MOTORSLICE, an anime slice-of-life action parkour game set in an imposing megastructure of which went ultra-viral earlier this month; BOMBSHELL BLITZ, a twin-stick arcade action game made by Brendan Sullivan, Senior Technical Artist at Mojang; SILLY POLLY BEAST, a demonic adventure shooter with survival horror elements and an anime-twist; The Backworld, an indie RPG mixing up genre formulas by incorporating elements of the backrooms liminal space phenomenon; and Alisa: The Parting, a follow-up to the critically acclaimed retro-PSX style survival horror from 2021. Returning partners such as Molegato (of Frogun fame) and Kyle Thompson (of Crypt Custodian, Islets, and Sheepo fame) also teased new titles.
In addition, the launch date for the highly anticipated, feudal Japanese-themed dungeon-crawler-meets-survival-horror title LABYRINTH OF THE DEMON KING was revealed as May 13 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & 4, and Xbox One and Xbox X|S.
