The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian | Join the Open Playtest!
Developer Schisma Games and publisher 101XP are pleased to announce that the playtest for The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian is now open to everyone. Players can begin experiencing the first chapter today by requesting access on the game’s Steam page.
As we are preparing for our Kickstarter campaign, launching on March 17, we’ve decided to make the current playtest fully open. This will allow any player to explore the project at an early stage and help shape its development.
The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian is a narrative RPG about the heir to a powerful empire. The story unfolds in the same universe as The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, where every person’s fate is determined by divine law from the moment of birth.
The immense power Prince Jerian wields becomes his greatest trial. Players must balance personal feelings with the demands of state duty, making decisions that will affect not only the hero’s life but the future of the entire Empire.
How to Get Access
Access is available to all users. To join the playtest, simply click the “Request Access” button on the game’s Steam page - approval is granted automatically and instantly.
What’s Included in the Playtest Version
The entire first chapter is available to play, up to a pivotal story moment that determines the hero’s path forward. In the full version, this turning point marks the beginning of more intense gameplay and far more frequent, consequential choices. And of course, the complete game will be significantly larger in scope than the introductory chapter we invite you to experience now.
