The closed beta for Bonfire Studios’ competitive PvP game Arkheron is in full swing on PC.
Bonfire Studios’ Closed Beta for Arkheron is currently in full swing on PC via Steam. Running through July 26, this update marks the game's largest public playtest to date, allowing players to experience major gameplay improvements, new player onboarding features, and the first test of Arkheron's cosmetics progression system while helping shape the game's path toward Early Access.
Built around Bonfire Studios' philosophy of community-centric development, the Closed Beta expands on player feedback gathered during Steam Next Fest and recent weekly playtests with improvements to gameplay clarity, UI, performance, and the new player experience.

The Arkheron Closed Beta introduces several major additions, including:
A Better Way to Begin – Jump into a significantly improved Arkheron experience with enhanced gameplay clarity, UI updates, performance improvements and a smoother onboarding journey, all shaped by community feedback from previous playtests.
Learn Before You Climb – Master the fundamentals in Learning Spires, a brand-new introductory mode where new players can learn Arkheron's combat, Eternals and item systems through bot matches at their own pace before stepping into competitive play.
The Core Competitive Experience – Battle for supremacy in Spires, Arkheron's signature 3v3 competitive mode, available throughout the entire Closed Beta and serving as the heart of the game's team-based action.
Rise to the Ultimate Challenge – Test your skills in Ascension, Arkheron's highest-level competitive mode, opening during scheduled weekend windows where players can take on the Tower's most demanding battles and compete for ultimate glory.
Play, Progress and Earn Exclusive Rewards – Take part in the Cosmetics Progression Test by earning Pages through gameplay to unlock rewards from the Closed Beta Collection. While most progression will reset at the end of the test, dedicated players can permanently earn exclusive Prestige rewards, including a unique title, banner and character skin.
Players who receive Closed Beta access will also receive three Steam friend invites, making it easy to bring teammates into the action.
Ascension, Arkheron's premier competitive mode, will be available during scheduled weekend queue windows throughout the Closed Beta:
Europe: July 24 & 25 from 7:00 PM–11:00 PM BST / 8:00 PM–12:00 AM CEST
South America: July 24 & 25 from 8:00 PM–12:00 AM BRT / ADT
North America: July 24 & 25 from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM PDT / 8:00 PM–12:00 AM EDT
Asia/Pacific: July 25 & 26 from 9:00 PM–12:00 AM JST / KST
Players can still sign up for a chance to participate by visiting the Arkheron website. Invitations will continue to roll out in waves throughout the test period to players who register.
