Tales from Candleforth opens the doors to surreal terror on April 30
The independent horror studio Under the Bed Games announced yesterday the release date for Tales From Candlefort, a folk horror point-and-click puzzle game where we will need to uncover the mysteries that await in the peaceful village of Candleforth. It will be published on April 30th and will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Entirely hand-drawn and featuring frame-by-frame 2D animation, Tales from Candleforth offers a twist on the puzzle genre by blending folk horror with escape room mechanics.
Under the umbrella of publisher Feardemic, this first project from Under the Bed Games studio has had an amazing reception at gaming events, being part of the 10th anniversary selection at the Day of the Devs and won several awards such as 'Best Puzzle Game' at IndieDevDay 2023, 'Best Art' at Gamepolis 2022 or 'Game of the Year' at Indie Games Málaga 2023.
