Sword of Justice: New Year’s Update Introduces New Map, Content, and Comprehensive UI Enhancements
NetEase Games and ZhuRong Studio have launched a major New Year’s update for the free-to-play eastern fantasy open-world MMORPG Sword of Justice. The update introduces a brand new explorable region, engaging gameplay features, additional heroes, celebratory in-game events, and a significantly optimized user interface for an enhanced player experience!
New 'Celestial Plains' Map Unveiled: Expanded Open-World Exploration with Fresh Gameplay and Heroes
The latest update expands the world of Sword of Justice with the vast Celestial Plains map, inviting players to visit diverse areas, including the Bloomfield of Dandelions, Violetmist Vale, and Clearwater Forest. A new exploration mode-Spirit Within-has also been introduced, challenging players to solve puzzles that unlock the secrets of nature within Sword of Justice’s immersive open world.
While journeying through the Celestial Plains, players will encounter the enigmatic new hero Ruan Ruan.
Through the new side storyline, Celestial Adventure, they can uncover the mystery of her origins and unlock her unique skill, Pouncing Paws, which lets her toss firecrackers at enemies to inflict damage and briefly stun them. Additionally, players can team up with Ruan Ruan in the new casual Hide-and-Seek mode to earn exclusive rewards.
The update also introduces a competitive 60-player PvP mode called Immortal Strife, set in the Celestial Plains. Participants can loot weapons from other schools to wield their skills, utilize vehicles such as tanks, deer mounts, and even flying swords, and scavenge airdrops to upgrade their equipment-all while striving to survive fast-paced, three-minute matches!
Dungeon Upgrades, New Year’s Events, and Exquisite Skins Now Available
The Frosty Dawn Sign-in Event has launched! By signing in just twice per week, players can claim all weekly rewards. Two new dungeons, Sundance Showdown - Inner City and School Trial - Crimson Sands, are also live now, offering substantial loot for those who brave their challenges. A range of new cosmetic items and weapon skins has been released as well, with opportunities to earn the all-new mount Omen Celestroar Chariot for free.
Major PC UI Optimization and New Player Guidance System
Sword of Justice's latest update includes a comprehensive PC UI overhaul, with the interface layout now better aligned with standard MMO conventions. The redesign prioritizes player control preferences, resulting in a smoother and more intuitive gameplay experience. The update also introduces the new beginner-friendly tutorial system, Learner’s Hall, offering guided content to help newcomers quickly get into the game.
