Season 4 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is now available for all players
After recently unveiling the future of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown in a dedicated video, KT Racing and NACON are pleased to announce today the launch of the game’s fourth season. This free update, available to all players, adds new content such as the Casino, new cars and new races, as well as significant Quality of Life improvements, including full customization of the in-game interface. Season 4 marks the end of Year 1.
Highly anticipated by players and well known to fans of Test Drive Unlimited 2, the iconic Casino makes its grand return. The Casino is a social hub for up to 32 players, allowing them to bet their virtual currency on activities like slot machines or poker (planned for the mid-season update), to unlock various cosmetics for their avatar and cars, as well as an exclusive car for the luckiest players. Additionally, the maximum reputation level increases from level 60 to level 70.
This season also enriches the game with new cars and the introduction of Stock Races, a set of 20 brand-new races spread across Hong Kong Island and Ibiza, as well as 20 existing races modified so that only ‘factory stock’ cars can participate.
Quality of Life improvements long awaited by the community are also introduced, including full customization of the in-game interface (HUD) and Group Ping, which allows players to add up to four routes on the GPS map and share a roadmap with their group. Finally, vehicles equipped with a spoiler will benefit from a new aerodynamic system, Active Aero, designed to realistically simulate spoiler behaviour (normal driving, air brakes, and even DRS depending on the car).
The Solar Pass now offers two tracks: a premium track, obtainable with Diamonds, the game’s new currency, as well as a free track available to all players. Owners of the Silver (Streets or Sharps) and Gold editions will receive a token to claim this Solar Pass for free (with 20 additional levels automatically unlocked for the Gold edition). This token can be saved and used in a future season.
Season 4 marks the end of Year 1. The developers are now focusing their efforts on Year 2 seasons, developing new content and continuing their work on several technical aspects of the game, including economy balancing, performance optimization, and graphics improvements on PC and consoles. They are also exploring the long-term implementation of cross-region, crossplay, and offline mode.

The introduction of Stock Races, a set of 20 brand-new races spread between Hong Kong Island and the city of Ibiza, along with 20 revisited existing races, exclusively for ‘factory stock’ cars without modifications, offering unique new challenges.
A redesign of the car spoiler behavior thanks to Active Aero, a new aerodynamic system designed to recreate authentic driving sensations with the controller. It applies to the aerobrake, deployment speed, and DRS (Drag Reduction System). Depending on the car model, the aerodynamic system can be set to automatic or manual mode.
Quality of Life improvements with HUD customization and Group Ping, allowing up to four routes to be added to the GPS and the ability to invite your group to view the roadmap.
A new Solar Pass offering free and premium content, accessible via the game’s new currency, Diamonds - which can be used to unlock new cars, cosmetics, and accessories. The premium pass is activated for free for Silver and Gold edition owners (with more than 20 progression levels unlocked for the Gold edition). This free activation can be saved and used for a future season.
