Samustai Announces PlayStation and Xbox Versions of Ultimate General: Civil War, Launching Q1 2026
Today, on Friday the 5th of December, Samustai has announced that the acclaimed and award-winning real-time tactics game Ultimate General: Civil War is coming to PlayStation and Xbox platforms, with release planned for Q1 2026.
Originally available on PC, Ultimate General: Civil War offers an authentic and deeply tactical experience of 19th-century warfare, allowing players to command armies throughout the American Civil War (1861-1865). From small skirmishes to large-scale, multi-day engagements spanning hundreds of square miles, every battle demands strategic foresight and precision.
Players can command and organize corps, divisions, and brigades, influencing outcomes not only through tactics but also through leadership and resource management. Units gain experience as they survive engagements, evolving from inexperienced recruits into hardened veterans.
