Awoo Studio and 2P Games announced that the official Steam store page is now live for It Takes Paws, a hilarious physics-based co-op puzzle game built on the beloved Supremo Cat IP. In this adventure, players step into the paws of Supremo Cat, a pampered feline of royal bearing, and Bubba Boo, his loyal but dim-witted pug companion, as they embark on a mission to save their beloved Master from a mysterious coma.
ABOUT THE GAME
Armed with nothing but wit, coordination, and the flexibility of their unconscious owner, Supremo Cat and Bubba Boo must navigate treacherous environments and solve physics-defying puzzles to restore their snack supply and rescue stray cats along the way. In It Takes Paws, players must stretch, bend, and swing their floppy human companion through diverse environments using the "Human Noodle Physics" system that treats the Master as a flexible, living tool.
The core mechanics revolve around the "Anchor and Pivot" system, where one player bites down to act as a temporary anchor while their partner leaps and swings, and the "Aerial Slingshot" technique, which lets players build momentum and launch themselves. Precision timing is essential: nail the release and progress; miss it and brace for a comedic crash into the nearest wall.
Beyond the puzzles, It Takes Paws rewards exploration and cooperation. The game is packed with hidden stray cats waiting to be rescued, each unlock adding to your stray gallery and expanding your home base. Between levels, visit the Snack Shop to spend collected canned food on ridiculous outfits and stylish skins for both heroes.
