Paradox Sets Dates for New Crusader Kings III Console Content
Crusader Kings III for XBOX Series X|S and Playstation 5 reaches new heights with Chapter IV, a compilation of material new for the platforms, highlighting exciting new aspects of medieval life and adding even more historical color and flavor, available on 15 October. The highlight of Chapter IV is the major expansion All Under Heaven, which expands the game map to include medieval East Asia, including China, Japan and Southeast Asia.
Developed by Room 8 Group in partnership with Paradox Interactive, Crusader Kings III for XBOX Series X|S and Playstation 5 is a grand strategy role-playing game set in a deeply researched and richly drawn medieval world of kings and caliphs, knights and knaves. Chapter IV has already found great success on the PC platform, and we are excited to bring new experiences into the console space.
The components of Chapter IV are:
Crowns of the World Instant Unlock: Available immediately upon purchase of Chapter IV, this pack includes six new historic royal crowns, four new hairstyles and two new beard designs for character portraits.
Khans of the Steppe: This Core Expansion pack focuses on greater historic detail and flavor for the nomadic tribes, including new game mechanics like herd migration and clan politics.
Coronations: This event pack highlights the decisions a ruler must make upon taking the throne. Prepare an elaborate coronation,to display your wealth and power to vassals and rivals alike.
All Under Heaven: This Major Expansion for Crusader Kings III extends the game map to include China, Japan and Southeast Asia. Explore new types of government, for each region, special events, decisions and roles for characters as you prepare original alternate histories of a medieval world that you will shape, unseen in any previous Crusader Kings game.

Coronations is an event pack for Crusader Kings III that adds a new activity for your ruler and related events. A Coronation ceremony allows kings and emperors to solemnize their reign, impress dignitaries and engage in a little scheming. Even if your character isn’t being crowned, they may attend as a guest and get some noble work done.
