Overdue Exorcism - One-Night-Only TTRPG Chaos for SpecialEffect
Salix Games and creative agency Liquid Crimson are teaming up to deliver a live, one-night-only tabletop RPG performance: Overdue Exorcism, created especially for One Special Day, in support of the games charity SpecialEffect.
Guided by Game Master Natalie Winter (LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Astrologaster), a cast of acclaimed actors will bring ghosts, hauntings, and high-stakes exorcisms to life:
Billie Fulford-Brown (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Somatic)
Dave Jones (Baldur’s Gate III, Alma’s Not Normal)
Kathryn Vinclair (Warhammer Soul Arena, Conan Exiles)
Kit Harrison (Genshin Impact)
+ special guest cameos!
Expect spectral drama, improvised chaos and a few devilish surprises as our cast of restless spirits fight to banish an otherworldly foe.
Raising Hell… and money for charity!
Overdue Exorcism isn’t just about watching ghosts face off in the afterlife - the audience gets to drive the chaos. Viewers will unlock fundraising milestones that force the cast into wild accents, musical interludes and full-blown possession swaps. On top of that, viewer-triggered perks let fans inflict chilli-chocolate roulette, demand dance-offs or make their favourite actor read romantic or horror poetry in-character, straight to camera. Every pound raised amps up the madness, ensuring no two minutes of the stream are ever the same - all in the name of raising money for a very good cause.
The live stream will be broadcast on SpecialEffect’s Twitch channel, with music courtesy of Emperia Records, and production by Salix Games and Liquid Crimson.
Stream details:

Quotes from the organisers:
Lauran Carter, Comms Director at Liquid Crimson: “We’re not here to play it safe - we’re here to summon ghosts, break rules and blow the doors off tabletop streaming. It’s theatre meets games meets rock show - and it’s all for SpecialEffect!”
Jessica Saunders, CEO at Salix Games: “Let’s all just have some silly spooky fun, whilst doing something for a good cause. We all need a bit of joy in life right now, and this should bring smiles with a minor side of pearl clutching.”
Paige Harvey, Gaming Community Manager at SpecialEffect: "We couldn't be more thankful for everyone who has put their time into this incredible stream, and we can't wait to see what shenanigans take place on 3rd October as part of One Special Day in support of our work! In our eyes, this event is already a natural 20!"
