New Animated Short for Green Hawk Platoon "Meet the Rifleman"
RetroPixel Digital and MicroProse are excited to unveil the first animated short in the Green Hawk Platoon character spotlight series: Meet the Rifleman. This humorous introduction brings to life the game's most disciplined (and perhaps overly enthusiastic) class-the Rifleman.
In this animated feature, viewers get an up-close look at the Rifleman's personality, gameplay style, and unique abilities. Armed with classic toy-inspired weaponry and an unwavering commitment to the rulebook, the Rifleman is the dependable all-rounder every squad needs-even if his teammates didn't ask for it.
The Rifleman's loadout includes the G16, PK47, and Toykov rifles, complemented by the Hawk 19 sidearm. His special abilities-an energy drink for health and speed boosts, and a deployable launch pad for vertical mobility-make him adaptable on any plastic battlefield.
Voiced by Lachlan Quarmby, the Rifleman embodies the spirit of Green Hawk Platoon: a blend of nostalgic toy soldier action and modern FPS gameplay.

What is Green Hawk Platoon?
Did you ever play with those little green toy soldiers as a kid? So did we. Our aim was to bring those nostalgic memories into a game that's fun to play with friends or on your own.
With Green Hawk Platoon, we set out to create an FPS that feels larger than life, designed for both single-player enthusiasts and competitive multiplayer fans. We've focused on delivering responsive gunplay and class-based combat at a 'toy soldier' scale.
We've put a lot of effort into making sure Green Hawk Platoon offers a fun and engaging experience, carefully fine-tuning the mechanics to get everything just right. Adding tanks, jeeps, helicopters, planes, controllable turrets, parachutes, grappling hooks, and even rockets to supercharge the moment-to-moment gameplay. We're also working on a variety of fully customizable weapons and soldier classes, including Riflemen, Medics, Heavy Machine-gunners, Engineers, Rocket Men and Commandos.
