NARAKA: BLADEPOINT COMING TO XBOX SERIES X|S AND XBOX GAME PASS JUNE 23

24 Entertainment and NetEase Games made some exciting announcements about the future of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT yesterday, including the long-awaited news that NARAKA is coming to consoles.

From June 23 the popular 60-player battle royale with “Unchained Multiplayer Combat” - an exhilarating combination of melee action and unparalleled movement through parkour, will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass.

To coincide with the Xbox launch, players will also be able to choose a brand new weapon: The Dual Blades. This is the first double-handed weapon in NARAKA, allowing players to deliver striking blows with a high attacking speed and unstoppable movement with multiple-hit combos.

In the near future, NARAKA players will also be able to experience the first chapter of the game’s brand new campaign mode. This new mode will see teams of three taking on new enemies and bosses that will offer completely new challenges to players, who will quickly find that taking down one of these bosses will require some new strategies to what they’ve been used to in PvP.

Since its launch in August 2021, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT has gone from strength to strength, introducing powerful new heroes and exciting new game modes to keep the game engaging for players. 24 Entertainment and NetEase Games are pleased to be able to share that NARAKA: BLADEPOINT has now sold over 10 million copies since launch, and to celebrate they will be offering an in-game gift to everyone.

Talking about the launch of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT on Xbox X|S and Xbox Game Pass, Zhipeng Hu, Vice President of NetEase said “We share the same ambition with Microsoft to bring an appealing and exciting new gaming experience to wider communities.” He went on to say, “It’s a milestone step for us to bring this melee battle gameplay with oriental aesthetics and philosophies to a new audience in Western markets, together with Microsoft, one of NetEase’s long-standing partners.”
