Mysterious 3D Puzzler Hope Timbre Drops New Demo
Linnet Solutions is pleased to announce that a new demo is available now for its upcoming 3D puzzle adventure, Hope Timbre. The demo will also be participating in the Steam Next Fest, running from October 19th to October 26th. You guide a mysterious creature through imaginary realms at night and help two siblings awaken their broken world during the day.
Traverse colourful environments and manipulate the architecture to solve puzzles. You begin by using flower blocks to rotate your perspective on a 3D plane, with new mechanics gradually added as you progress. In these environments you can find Hope Instruments that you take back to the waking world. These could be musical instruments, songs, friendly creatures or pieces of a book. Use these to heal the siblings, grow their old tree, summon the Spring and escape the never-ending cycle.
The game features non-linear progression through levels decorated with their own patterns inspired by Slavic embroidery. Music based on local folklore songs adapts to the player solving the puzzles bit by bit. There are no failstates and puzzles are designed to require no restarts for pressure-free puzzling. Watch a cold world transform as you progress, collect Hope Instruments and decorate the world as it heals.
Hope Timbre is the first title from Linnet Solutions, who previously worked on award-winning Amanita Design titles Botanicula and Chuchel. Players will discover some of the charm of those games in their debut effort, combined with inspirations from Slavic culture and mythology.
