Mulan 2125: Episode Two Launches on Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest

Well-Link Tech's first AAA-quality sit-down XR series, Mulan 2125, launches its second episode today on Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. On Apple Vision Pro, Episodes 1 and 2 are now available, with Episode 1 free and Episode 2 offered via in-app purchase. On Meta Quest, Episode 2 launches today, with Episode 1 now available for free.

Co-produced with Haixi Media, Mulan 2125 was nominated for the Immersive Competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and won the “Best Innovative Technology Film” award at the 2025 Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, Golden Rooster XR Film Exhibition. The series has completed theatrical runs in Shanghai and Zhengzhou, supported by operating VR experience stores, and is positioned as Asia’s first XR film to enter a theatrical box-office launch. The project brings a continuous, episode-driven narrative to consumer headsets.

Built for long-form storytelling in VR, Mulan 2125 moves beyond short, standalone XR pieces and unfolds across chapters designed to carry tension and emotion forward from episode to episode. The series combines single-eye 4K imagery in 180° panoramic projection, Dolby Atmos sound, and real-time cloud rendering to deliver film-grade presentation in a comfort-oriented, seated format. The project has been selected for Venice Immersive and the Golden Rooster XR Film Exhibition.

The story unfolds a century after a green comet scarred the skies, leaving a world shaped by Muk, a substance with a dual nature that can heal or destroy. As conflict escalates between the besieged Ant City and the militant PAC, 18-year-old Mulan searches the colossal warship ARK for her missing father. Her journey becomes an awakening, where betrayal forges purpose and each discovery draws a deeper response from the Muk within her.

This serialized XR experience prioritizes immersive presence over spectacle, placing audiences within a cinematic 180° vista and Dolby Atmos soundscape. Designed for comfort and narrative depth, the series builds its world chapter by chapter, allowing the technology to recede so the story can carry the weight.

Every layer is produced to cinema standards, combining top-tier CG art and visual effects with choreographed motion and nuanced performances, presented in single-eye 4K and mixed in Dolby Atmos to preserve both scale and intimacy. The core idea is a “story surrounding the audience,” using structure and staging to shift viewers from external observers into companions who share the same space, visually and sonically, as the protagonist.
