LUDUS Reaches 10 Million Downloads and Introduces Divisions, a Major New Feature
Mobile game developer Top App Games, part of Utmost Games, has announced that its free-to-play strategy PvP autobattler, LUDUS, has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide. The studio also revealed Divisions, a major new in-game feature for competitive play.
This milestone follows strong business performance. Recently, LUDUS achieved a 74.6% year-over-year revenue increase and expanded into the Southeast Asian market with its launch in Vietnam.
Divisions is a seasonal event that replaces the Leagues system. Introduced in March, the feature places players into groups of 20+ competitors, where they compete to climb the ranks, advance to higher tiers, and earn exclusive rewards.
At the end of each event cycle:
The top five players are promoted to higher Divisions
Players ranked 6th-15th retain their current tier
Lower-ranked players are demoted unless they meet a minimum threshold, known as Subsistence Might
Divisions introduce new strategic mechanics. Players can challenge rivals using Attack Coupons, raid statues to siphon rating points, and recover lost rating through a one-time Payback attack. Daily progression is tracked through a Victories Gauge, which must be filled to unlock rewards and end-of-season bonuses.
“LUDUS is a one-of-a-kind title in the mobile space, that blends merge mechanics, auto-chess tactics, and RPG progression into a cohesive experience,” said Vladimir Markov, CEO of Top App Games. “Divisions reflect our commitment to making the gameplay experience even more engaging.”
“I’m proud to see the progression of LUDUS since the start of the project. The number of downloads and revenue proves it’s a hit game,” said Vladimir Nikolsky, investor and CEO of Utmost Games. “It’s great to see the Top App Games team consistently testing and experimenting with new events and features to further evolve the game.”
LUDUS was released in December 2023 and has demonstrated consistent growth since launch. In March 2025, the game’s monthly revenue reached approximately $3 million, and by December 2025,
LUDUS had surpassed 8 million installs globally. The core audience consists primarily of men aged 25-50. The game is especially popular in the United States, South Korea, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom
