Legacy MMO “Wizard101” Available Now on Nintendo Switch, Bringing Magic to the Nintendo eShop
It’s finally time. Today, MMO publisher KingsIsle Entertainment’s most prolific title Wizard101 is now available on Nintendo Switch! Starting today the beloved family-friendly MMO is now accessible on all platforms, inviting a whole new generation of young wizards, alongside returning Ravenwood Academy alumni, to immerse themselves in the Spiral’s multitude of mystical worlds.
Wizard101 is available now on the Nintendo Switch for $19.99 USD and includes full access to the first of the five current main story arcs of the Wizard101 storyline. As part of Kingsisle’s partnership with Nintendo and publishing games for the Nintendo Switch, Wizard101 has an upfront cost similar to the Arc 1 Access Pass starter package for other platforms. This includes hours of mainline content to complete the first Arc of the Wizard101 story, not including side content. As players progress further, content and in-game subscriptions can be unlocked through the purchase of Crowns, the Wizard101 in-game premium currency.
Wizard101 is also available to download for free on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, where players can enjoy free content up to the recently expanded Free-to-Play area in the Oasis zone of Krokotopia. Accounts created on a Nintendo device will play on the same server as the other console players, however cross-progression is currently unavailable.
