Belgian Indie game developers Fire Foot Studios have been turning the handle on the jack-in-the-box to announce their latest project and Jester: A Foolish Ritual popped out!
Jester: A Foolish Ritual is a co-op horror game set in the dungeons of a medieval castle. It's planned to release on Steam first, with the release date to be announced later.
Good news? You’ve been resurrected!
Bad news? It’s your job to stop the evil jester.
Sneak, survive, complete the ritual (without screaming too loud), and maybe, just maybe you can save the kingdom and go back to being peacefully dead.

About the Game
Jester: A Foolish Ritual is a co-op survival horror game. You play as one of four knights resurrected in a cursed castle, and your only hope of escape is to uncover hidden runes, complete the ritual, and break the Jester’s wicked curse.
Lift the evil curse
You awaken in an abandoned castle, trapped with no way out. The only path to freedom lies in performing a sacred ritual to banish the monstrous Jester who haunts these halls.
Each run will be different. You will have to try your best and adapt as you venture through the cursed castle while watching out for lingering traps. The Jester might even leave some of his jack boxes lurking around. If you trigger them. .. he will come for you!
Work together
Play solo or team up with friends for a terrifying co-op experience. Stay together for safety and to use the proximity voice chat, or split up to search faster. Communication is key but beware that the Jester doesn't hear you.
With each item you pick up the Jester will become increasingly more aggresive, because he knows you are one step closer to ending the ritual.
