INDUSTRIA 2 Launch Date Postponed to April 29th

Developer Bleakmill and publisher Headup are announcing the delay of their game INDUSTRIA 2. Instead of today, April 15th, it will now launch on April 29th. INDUSTRIA 2 will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

As a small token of apology for the players that have been excited to get their hands on the game today, No Bloom Now's track Hint Of Light from the INDUSTRIA 2 OST is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The reason for this delay is the need to take additional time to make sure the game delivers on the quality it aims for. A statement from Bleakmill reads as follows:

"Turns out finishing a high fidelity singleplayer FPS campaign with a team of 8 is hard. We are punching above our weights with this one once again. On one hand, this is exactly why it's exciting for us and apparently for a lot of people out there. Hearing from players and testers that this game sometimes can feel close to the games that inspired us growing up, like Half-Life, Bioshock and Resident Evil, is unbelievably beautiful and motivating.

On the other hand, it's sometimes overwhelmingly difficult for our tiny team scattered around the globe to make it fully click without burning out and being able to pay everyone fairly every month. A hard balance between passion and the reality of paying bills that most creatives out there face."

INDUSTRIA 2 is a narrative FPS adventure about a woman stranded in a parallel dimension. Explore, scavenge and fight your way through a mysterious boreal landscape consumed by an ever-hungry artificial intelligence to find a way home.

Key Features of INDUSTRIA 2 include:

  • Immersive gameplay: Physics-based interactions, along with crafting and a diegetic inventory, connect the gameplay and the game environments

  • A hero's journey: A narrative FPS at its core, featuring memorable characters and a touching story

  • Unique setting: Industrial decay in a vast boreal landscape combined with otherworldly sprawling mechanical structures

  • Upgradable weapons: Upgrade five weapons with attachments like silencers, extended magazines, or special attacks

  • Robot “Body Horror”: Vivid machine oil spilling and body dismemberment lead to intense firefights

  • Cinematic audio: Full voiceover, dynamic music, and detailed sound design present an exceptional audio experience
