Green Man Gaming launches Care Package mystery bundle with 100% of proceeds to charity

The UK has around six million fewer charity donors than it did a decade ago. But gamers have a long history of stepping up, from charity speedrun marathons to SpecialEffect's GameBlast, which has raised over £1.8 million for disabled gamers.

Today, Green Man Gaming (GMG), the online video game retailer, distributor and publisher, launches Care Package to continue turning gamers’ generosity into lasting support for UK charities. It's a monthly mystery bundle that gives players three games for $5, with 100% of the money going to charity. The first bundle is in support of SpecialEffect.

What’s new:

  • Every penny to charity: neither GMG nor the participating publishers take a share.

  • Three mystery games for $5: worth at least $50, mixing AAA, indie and catalogue titles, revealed after purchase.

  • A new charity every month: October supports SpecialEffect's Accessible Gaming Loan Library, which provides adapted controllers and assistive technology so people with physical disabilities can play.

  • One year of Charity Bundles: Care Package marks a year since GMG launched its charity bundles, which give a share of every sale to charity. They’ve featured names such as DC Universe, LEGO, Warner Bros. Games and Gearbox, with savings of up to 90%.

The first Care Package is available from today until 31 October at [l|https://www.greenmangamingbundles.com/bundles/special-effect-care-package/].
