GameSpain Direct celebrates Summer with a Showcase featuring 26 Spanish Indie Gems
The Spanish Videogame Developers Association (DEV) presents the third edition of GameSpain Direct, streaming on June 17th at 8:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 17:00 CET on the Best Indie Games YouTube channel. After a successful Winter and Spring showcase, this new installment continues to celebrate the creativity of Spain’s independent game scene. Featuring 26 titles and interviews with developers from across the country, the event strengthens DEV’s mission to elevate Spanish indie games globally.
To celebrate the event, GameSpain will also have a Steam event featuring all the games that have participated in past editions, with plenty of demos and discounts.
GameSpain Direct: Summer Edition showcases a vibrant variety of Spanish upcoming titles: from roguelikes to action adventure games to retro platformers paying tribute to the ancient Game & Watch. Audiences will discover everything from hidden gems by rising indie developers to projects by well-known figures in the Spanish videogame industry, offering a true snapshot of the creative talent thriving across the nation’s studios.

ABOUT THE GAMESPAIN DIRECT
GameSpain Direct is an event focused on promoting upcoming Spanish video games, set for release within weeks or months at most. The event will take place seasonally featuring 25 trailers, each up to a minute long, all introduced by content creator ClemmyGames – well-known for discovering new indie gems in his channel. Every GameSpain Direct will also feature short interviews with the developers to gain a better understanding of the games, their mechanics, and of course when they will be available!
GameSpain is a programme with the goal of promoting Spanish games in international markets, as well as connecting Spanish developers with investors, publishers, media, and other relevant actors of the video games industry. The GameSpain initiative is funded by the Spanish government and led by the industry association DEV (Desarrollo Español de Videojuegos).
