Developer BANJIHA GAMES and publisher Sandyfloor have announced Cold Case, a text-based detective game coming to Steam in the first half of 2027.
Using digital forensics, you enter keywords into an in-game computer to recover words and passages that couldn't be scanned from the fire-damaged records found in a police inspector's burned-down home.
Restoring the text also reveals new clues in the photographs beside it, giving you fresh leads to investigate and new keywords to try. Every discovery brings you closer to solving the eight unsolved cases, and with that the key(words) to uncover the final mystery.
