Constance & The Berlin Apartment Head To Tokyo Games Show
Blue Backpack is excited to announce that, thanks to their strategic partnership with Asian video game publisher PARCO GAMES, their anticipated indie titles, Constance and The Berlin Apartment, will be at Tokyo Games Show from September 25th - 28th as part of the PARCO GAMES booth. The Berlin Apartment will release on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on November 17th. Constance will follow shortly after, launching on PC on November 24th, ahead of a launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 in 2026.
Constance is a 2D hand-drawn metroidvania that’s won comparisons to the likes of Hollow Knight and Celeste thanks to its flow-state platforming and combat, and mental health themes. Transform into paint to dive into the ground and walls, slice through the air and enemies, and utilize an array of unique brush techniques to experience a constant state of flow. But beware: using your brush techniques will corrupt your paint. Rely on them too much and you’ll become fully corrupted, so learn to strive for balance!

About The Berlin Apartment
The Berlin Apartment is a first-person narrative adventure set in a single apartment in Berlin over the course of a century. The Berlin Apartment begins when a handyman is tasked with refurbishing an old apartment. Thanks to the COVID situation, he has a daughter to watch over and homeschool during the extensive renovation work. As he digs deeper and deeper into the history of the apartment, he brings it to life by telling its stories to his daughter. Relics from past times turn out to be silent witnesses - and former companions - of the apartment's former inhabitants. Dive into the lives of those that lived within the apartment’s four walls. Experience their dreams and the dangers that haunt them, live the hellos and goodbyes that defined their lives, witness their adventures, uncover memories and mysteries.
