Co-op Space Adventure ‘Jump Space’ Introduces New Perks, Threats and Endless Mode in Second Major Update
Keepsake Games, the Swedish development studio founded by veterans from Hazelight, Mojang, and Coffee Stain, are excited to reveal that their spacefaring hit Jump Space is getting its second major content update today. Building on the game’s successful launch with more than 500,000 units sold to date, the second content update aims to deepen progression and expand mission variety.
The Augmentation System - Own your Style
Augmentations are new equipable perks that let players customise their approach to combat and survival, adding a layer of permanent progression to every mission that crews embark on. Each Augment will have a defined Power cost, allowing a mix of minor boosts and more impactful additions. Examples of Augmentations include:
Bulwark Core - Personal shield has +400% capacity, but never recharges.
Deadman Detonator - When downed, explode dealing 100 damage to all enemies within 9 meters.
Kill Protocol - a stacking +10% on-foot damage for 10 seconds after a kill

The system will continue to develop throughout Early Access, allowing the community to feedback and help shape the way it is implemented.
New Mission Type - Endless Waves
Update two also introduces the ‘Endless Waves’ mission type, where crews must survive unrelenting waves of enemies in the Data Centre. Crews can take on as many waves as they dare, and extract at their own leisure - waiting too long increases the gains as well as the risks.

And Much More
Besides Augmentations and Endless Waves, Jump Space’s second update also introduces:
A New Radioactive Enemy Type - Jump Space’s spider family keeps growing - a radioactive arachnid enemy is joining its flamethrower sibling to wreak havoc! The mechanical critters will now be a much bigger threat to all crewmembers.
Buddybot Command Wheel - Everybody's favourite space assistant Buddybot now features a command wheel, letting solo players toggle individual actions on or off or disable all for an added challenge.
Cargo Bag - Spacefarers attempting to carry more items than they can hold will now be able to put items into a nifty Sack, allowing them to carry more firepower into battles or loot back to the ship.
