Co-op drunken pirate adventure Yo Ho Ho And A Rubber Duck revealed at Endix Expo
Independent developer Red Hog Studio has unveiled their upcoming co-op drunken pirate adventure Yo Ho Ho And A Rubber Duck. Revealed at the virtual Endix Expo, in this physics-based comedy adventure your crew is the biggest threat!
You can meet the dev team at booth#1 on the first floor from 4-6pm CET Friday, November 6th, 9am-11:30am CET Saturday November 7th, and 3pm-5pm CET Sunday November 8th.
Yo Ho Ho And A Rubber Duck lets you and your ragtag crew customize your inflatable pirate ship and set sail for the legendary “G.O.T.Y. treasure”. Combining land and sea exploration, parkour, crafting, a merchant upgrade loop and parry-based combat with balloon swords, anything and everything will go wrong. From sharks attacking your comically vulnerable vessel, to flatulence-based fiascos sending your first mate flying, to mutinous crew members seizing the helm, there’s never a dull moment in this inflatable excursion.
Each island is built around a self-contained theme. Compete with your comrades in a hamster-ball race, glide down an ice-cube slide, or navigate a nocturnal maze illuminated only by torchlight! Featuring bright, stylized saturated skies, sculpted rock formations and inflatable props, this slapstick sailing adventure reminds us that there’s no “aye” in “team”.

"Yo Ho Ho And A Rubber Duck combines the swashbuckling adventure of being a pirate with the goofy, playful tone of being a kid with an overactive imagination," said Francesco Sapio, Founder & CEO at Red Hog Studio. "At its heart, it's also a bit of a self-portrait: a group of friends setting sail on the wild adventure of game development, chasing the one treasure every developer dreams of, the GOTY. Built around physics-based gameplay, we encourage players to toggle between supporting…"
