Cave Crave Introduces Backer Pack, Letting Players Directly Support New Real-World Cave VR Experiences
Viral VR spelunking hit Cave Crave is inviting its community to help shape the future of the game with the launch of the Backer Pack, a new supporter DLC designed to fund the studio’s ongoing effort to recreate real-world caves in virtual reality. The announcement positions Cave Crave not just as a VR game, but as a growing platform for exploring real underground locations.
The release marks a new step in 3R Games’ “Real Caves in VR” initiative, allowing players to directly contribute to the creation of authentic underground locations while receiving exclusive in-game rewards.
A DLC Built Around Community Support
Unlike traditional cosmetic add-ons, the Backer Pack was created as a way for players to actively support the expansion of Cave Crave’s real-world exploration program.
“Our community kept asking how they could help us bring more real caves into VR,” says 3R Games CEO Piotr Surmacz. “The Backer Pack gives players a direct way to support that vision while becoming part of the project’s growth.”
