Cave Crave adds Multiplayer Painting Mode and new DLC in its latest update!

Cave Crave, the viral VR spelunking hit by 3R Games, is trading traditional flashlights for flashiness. Today, the studio officially launched the Art Pack DLC, alongside a major game update introducing a brand-new multiplayer creative mode: group painting competition available in new scene - Paint Cave.

Following the success of previous community-focused expansions, this latest update shifts the focus from survival and exploration to pure self-expression, allowing players to leave their literal mark in the deepest, darkest corners of the virtual underground.

Leave Your Mark in the Darkness
The Art Pack DLC introduces a creative toolkit designed for players who want to explore in style. For the first time, spelunkers can light up the subterranean gloom with vibrant colors and custom designs. The pack includes:

  • Chalk Spray & Colorful Chalk: New interactive tools to paint cave walls and create underground masterpieces.

  • Exclusive Cosmetics: A bold, street-art-inspired glove and mask skin set tailored for artists.

The Art Pack DLC is available starting today on Meta Quest for $6.99

Introducing Creative Chaos: Group painting competition
Accompanying the DLC is a free multiplayer update introducing a new scene - Paint Cave. This fast-paced, social gameplay loop challenges players to showcase their creativity under pressure:

  • The Phrase: Players enter a dedicated new level together and receive a secret drawing theme.

  • The Sketch: Everyone rushes to the board to draw their best (or funniest) interpretation before the timer runs out.

  • The Vote: Once time expires, drawings are revealed to the group for real-time reactions and voting.

  • The Champion: Rankings are displayed, the round resets, and a fresh theme begins.
