Better Than Dead is available now on Steam in Early Access, bringing its raw, close-quarters combat and relentless, revenge-driven action to players in a tightly focused, high-intensity experience inspired by classic Hong Kong action cinema.

To celebrate the launch, a new launch trailer is now live, showcasing the game’s brutal firefights, photorealistic urban environments, and fast, unforgiving gunplay.

Set across a series of dense, handcrafted locations deep within a stylized vision of Hong Kong, Better Than Dead puts players in the role of a survivor who’s done running. Armed with a pistol and a kill list, every level becomes a direct assault through neon-lit corridors, cramped apartments, seedy clubs, and rooftop hideouts.

Built around immediacy and tension, Better Than Dead strips away excess to focus on movement, reaction, and execution. Encounters are fast, violent, and decisive. Mistakes are lethal. Hesitation is punished.

Available now in Early Access, the game launches with a fully playable main mode spanning 14 handcrafted levels, with further improvements and future expansion planned during development.
