A beautiful tribute to the classics has a beta on Steam for a limited time
The Brazilian studio Combo Game Studio has released a limited-time open playtest on Steam for its new game, Alien Strike: Blasting Intruders. This beta will only be available between August 15 and August 31, 2025
A tribute to arcade classics
Aien Strike: Blasting Intruders is a love letter to iconic franchises like Metal Slug and Contra, bringing fast-paced run-and-gun action with a unique hand-crafted identity and co-op for up to three players.
The playtest already features voiceover in both Portuguese and English for weapon items, with talents such as Luana Stegger (Dublapedia Brasil) and Ricardo Juarez, known for being the Brazilian voice of famous characters such as Kratos (God of War), Johnny Bravo and Julius (Everybody Hates Chris).
The importance of feedback
During this period, players will be able to test the game and help shape its final version. The developers ask that feedback be shared on the Steam discussions tab or in the official Nuntius Games Discord server. In addition, players are encouraged to add the game to their Steam wishlist, supporting its visibility and growth on the platform.
According to Alyson Monteiro, director of the project, this is a crucial step:
"This playtest is essential for players to experience how the game is shaping up, provide feedback, suggest improvements and more. We will analyze all the information and work even harder on the game."
After the end of the playtest, an official demo will be released based on the tested version, already incorporating adjustments and improvements suggested by players.
