'Reverse: 1999' Launches First Anniversary Update
One year after its debut, Bluepoch Games is excited to announce the First Anniversary Update of its award-winning 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG Reverse: 1999 is available today.
Version 1.9 - also known as “Vereinsamt”, which translates from German as “Lonely” - will include a free 6-star character called Semmelweis, the 5-star character Matilda fans will already be aware of, and 30 free pulls by logging in during the anniversary season - a number that jumps to 100 if you’re logging in for the very first time.
Also on offer is Lucy, the new 6-star DPS with a distinct robot design that seems to reference Metropolis. Lucy is now summonable in the limited banner “Thoughts in Cylinder.”
Though Lucy looks like a female robot, she is actually an Awakened arcanist. Her core was a piston that was part of the Watt steam engine prototype. Born into an era that saw the birth of science as a profession, she relentlessly pursues scientific development and pays attention to nothing else.
Excitingly, Kakania - the beloved psychiatrist who players first encountered in Version 1.7 - will be summonable from October 10th in the banner “Observation into the Mirrors.”
“We’re so excited to see Reverse: 1999 celebrate its first anniversary - it has been quite the year,” offers Guest Cat, the Art Director. “We think version 1.9 offers a fitting celebration for fans of the game, as well as serving as a great starting point for those new to the game.”
Bluepoch Games can also confirm the first unique garment of Reverse: 1999, “Take Off! To the Future” for Regulus, is now available, bringing brand new Ultimates animate and bunches of new features. New garments for Jessica and Voyager are likewise now available. Besides, players can get the new garment for Sonetto by completing tasks during the Anniversary.
The new Rogue-like Mode called "A Series of Dusks" will soon be available, bringing the new free 5-star character Lorelei and plenty of other rewards.
As announced in the preview program, The First Anniversary Special Offline Exhibition “To the Past Times” will take place at 481 S Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036 between October 26th-27th. The event will include an exhibition of special artworks, featuring iconic items and posters from the game. Also included will be a film screening featuring version trailers, music videos, and various other goodies.
Reverse: 1999 also announced that it would collaborate with Discovery and KOI soon. The Discovery collaboration will bring new garments of Tooth Fairy and Getian.
