‘over the hill’ climbs past One Million Wishlists on Steam
Funselektor and Strelka Games have announced that over the hill, the upcoming off-road exploration game from the developer of art of rally, has surpassed one million wishlists on Steam. A closed playtest will take place April 24-26 on Steam to mark the milestone, with registrations open now until April 16.
The developers also officially revealed ‘algeria’, one of the regions featured in the game, during a brand-new trailer in the recent Triple-I Initiative Showcase. Inspired by the scenery of its real-world counterpart, players can journey together across algeria’s plateaus to discover new routes and points of interest, such as ancient ruins, sand-swept valleys, and even fallen meteorites.
over the hill launches on Steam in 2026, with PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch™ 2 versions to follow. PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch™2 players who pre-order and pre-purchase (coming soon!) the physical version of over the hill can pick up a Premium Standard Edition or Collector’s Edition of the game, being produced in partnership with Serenity Forge.
