Retro Puzzle Platformer Manifest Destiny is Out Now on Steam
Publisher 2P Games and Indie solo developer Gouhong Studio are proud to announce the release of Manifest Destiny, a retro-inspired top-down puzzle adventure game that blends arcade action, storytelling, and real developer tools into a unique interactive experience.

In Manifest Destiny, players take on the role of a struggling game developer who escapes into the only place he still feels in control: the game world he created. But as the lines between the virtual and the real begin to blur, he must confront what it means to be a “creator”-and whether redemption can be found through code, art, and music.
Manifest Destiny lets players use actual game dev skills to overcome challenges. Programming alters logic and creates openings; Art reshapes de environment; and Music influences the emotions and decisions of NPCs.
This unconventional skillset drives both puzzle-solving and combat, allowing for creative approaches to each level. At the same time, every action in the game feeds into a Good & Evil system, where morality directly impacts the story, unlocking multiple paths and endings. Players can fight their way through enemies, help those in need, or manipulate outcomes through more subtle means.
