Turn-Based Strategy ‘Songs of Conquest’ to Catapult Onto Mobile Soon
Today, Coffee Stain Publishing, Coffee Stain Malmö and Lavapotion have announced during The Mobile Gaming Show that their hit fantasy strategy game Songs of Conquest will be coming to mobile. Players can look forward to conquering kingdoms and wielding magic on the go as they adventure through an intricate, picturesque pixel art world full of wealth and wonder.
Inspired by 90s classics such as the Heroes of Might and Magic and Age of Wonders series, Songs of Conquest blends turn-based tactical gameplay and kingdom management with vibrant pixel graphics for a classic, old school feel. Key features of the mobile version include:
Intricate turn-based combat featuring unique troop abilities, progression systems, powerful magic, and more
Four unique factions catering to various playstyles, from chivalrous knights and swamp dwellers to merchants and necromancers
Four full-length campaigns exploring the rich lore of the conflict-locked factions
Handcrafted conquest and challenge maps to test your skills on the battlefield
Originally released into Early Access in May 2022, with a full 1.0 launch two years later, Songs of Conquest has developed a dedicated following over the last two years and sold over 500,000 units. The team is not slowing down either, with multiple DLC updates and expansions currently in the works.
“We’re excited to be bringing Songs of Conquest to yet another platform outside of PC!” says Christian Knutsson, Art Director at Lavapotion. “The teams at Coffee Stain and Lavapotion have worked hard to make sure that the experience of playing Songs of Conquest on mobile is seamless and immersive. We can’t wait to see what our players think!”
