The Outlast Trials at the Canadian Game Awards
Over the weekend, the Red Barrels team showed up at the Canadian Game Awards ceremony at TIFF Lighthouse in Toronto, Canada to celebrate Canadian talent in the games industry; and what a night it was!
The Outlast Trials was nominated for two awards. Although we didn't take home the awards this time, it was an honor to be recognized among such talented developers in the games industry.

"Being nominated for these awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are grateful to have been considered alongside so many outstanding studios. We’re excited to keep pushing boundaries as we continue our work on The Outlast Trials." Philippe Morin, Red Barrels Co-founder.
The Outlast Trials recently reached a new milestone: over 3 million players across platforms! If you have yet to try it, take advantage of the Quebec Game Celebration sale and the Epic Winter Sale for 60% discount until February 24.
Next month, on March 5, we hope you join us in celebrating The Outlast Trials’ first anniversary since 1.0 launch. Plans are well underway, stay tuned for more in the next weeks.
While we wait for bloody celebrations to arrive, a new animated message has made its way through the walls under Dr. Easterman’s nose… could this mean a new chapter signaling hope for those trapped?
