Once Human Launches Cross-Platform Test for Mobile & PC
NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES, HKEX: 9999), announced today that Once Human’s cross-platform test for mobile devices and PC has begun, giving even more players worldwide the chance to build, explore, and fight in the post-apocalyptic world.
Once Human is all about player interaction, both cooperative and combative. Set in a world overtaken by Lovecraftian horrors, Once Human offers the chance to uncover the secrets of the supernatural, uncovering weapons needed to fight the monstrosities that roam the land and rebuild society from the ground up. This also allows players to battle each other as contests for control of the wasteland ramp up.
Once Human is currently only available on PC, but the game is launching on Android and iOS devices in April, 2025, with versions that will be cross-compatible, allowing players on multiple devices to fight with or against each other. This new era of Once Human’s gameplay is being kicked off with a cross-platform test that is setting the groundwork for everything to come.
How To Join Once Human’s Cross-Platform Test
The Once Human cross-platform test is live and will run until March 30, with players in Europe, Japan, and North America able to participate. Players could sign up by completing a survey within Once Human or join through one of the game’s official social media communities. There will be limited slots, so sign up quickly
Players on mobile devices are required to use separate methods, as iOS users need to participate using TestFlight, while Android users need to install the game’s APK from the official site. PC players, on the other hand, can jump right in and experience the cross-platform test via the game’s official client once they get qualified.
Once Human’s cross-platform test uses the current global server environment that’s being used by the PC version of the game, This means that all of the content from the PC version, including all the Scenarios and the Visional Wheel/Lunar Oracle, can be experienced by mobile players throughout the test.
