Introducing Fantastic Haven - A blend of Zoo Tycoon and builder/management with a sprinkle of magic
Goblinz Publishing and Piece of Cake Fabulous are excited to welcome all fantastical creatures and humans to Fantastic Haven. A realm has been left in shambles, including its wildlife, and it’ll be up to players to bring refuge and restoration to the land and its inhabitants while bringing a balance to magic once more.
The whimsical title will be coming to PC next year and consoles at a later date. In addition, players can now support the title on Kickstarter. Take a look at the remarkable things that you’ll be able to accomplish in the first-ever trailer below!
Magic is gradually fading from the realm, and in its place looms technological advances. Where once there was harmony with the creatures, there is now hunting or abandonment. As one of the Elders, it’ll be up to players to help restore balance helping the mystical creatures around and using diplomacy to bring peace among humans and creatures once more.
From scaly to feathered, aerial to aquatic, there are many wondrous creatures that have been left to fend for themselves, many have been wounded or endangered and will need assistance if they’re to survive. Build structures and biotopes capable of handling the remarkable task of saving the realm’s creatures and upgrade them as you progress. While creatures are under your care, you’ll need to meet their needs, including rehabilitating them in the correct biotope as well as keeping them with other creatures they’re compatible with while keeping them away from creatures they aren’t.
There’s much to manage in Fantastic Haven. Send out scouting parties of mages to discover points of interest and to find and bring back creatures in need. Managing creatures isn’t all that players will face, hostile populations may seek to halt restoring harmony, and careful decision-making and negotiating will be key. Players will have to juggle these tasks while also collecting available ether to power their creation and bolster their resources.

Establish a Refuge - Choose where your refuge will be and build basic infrastructures unlocking new research and buildings, allowing you to welcome more creatures and make your refuge prosper.
Welcome Creatures One and All - Bring creatures back to the refuge and rehabilitate them. Place them in proper quarantine structures, then move them to a sanctuary with other compatible creatures and their biotope while keeping them sequestered from others. When the time is right, set them back into the wild, helping to restore magic.
Explore the Realm - Send out scouting parties of mages to survey points of interest and to find creatures in need and bring them back to your refuge. While exploring, be sure to collect the five types of ether to use as currency and fuel your creations.
Bring Harmony - Negotiate with hostile populations using diplomacy to form strong ties. Train your citizens to properly care for the fantastical creatures at the refuge to increase its reputation and to help bring balance between humans, creatures, resources, and magic.
