Galactic Civilizations III v4.5 Update Now Available
Stardock just released a v4.5 update for Galactic Civilizations® III, its massive space sandbox 4X strategy game. This update focuses on improving the game's AI, updating art assets for events, and offering the player ways to get their early game started more smoothly with additional starting world tiles and scouts.
In v4.5, Players now start with 2 scouts and all starting worlds have 4 more tiles and additional currency on them. Diplomatic trades have also been tweaked so that players can get a little more bang for their buck - or their Elerium, as the case may be.
Several of the art assets for events have also been updated for a fresh new look. Updates to the AI improve game pacing and support further immersion with things like better tax handling, choosing what technology to research, and aborting trades with the player if it determines the trade is truly unreasonable.
The v4.5 update is now available. Users can get the core edition of Galactic Civilizations III on Steam, Epic, or Stardock for $39.99.
