New Spook-A-Boo Trailer Brings Co-Op Chaos to Summer Game Fest
Independent game developer Wala Interactive revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for upcoming ghost hunting co-op adventure game, Spook-A-Boo for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer shows off the core gameplay loop of scan, detect, and capture ghosts - with a serving of chaos. You can check it out right here:
The trailer debuted at the India Game Showcase. This is a part of Summer Game Fest aired on the official The Game Awards YouTube and Twitch as well as broadcast partners, IGN and Gamespot.
In addition to this, Wala Interactive released a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development process that premiered at the Women-Led showcase.
Spook-A-Boo is a light-hearted top-down, level-based co-op game inspired by Saturday morning cartoons like Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters with a focus on chaotic (but family friendly) adventures. The game is published by leading video games publisher, Soft Source Publishing.
Featuring physics-based puzzles, gadgets galore, and a dedicated button to simply kick things, you’ve all the tools to save the world, if not your friendships in couch or online co-op.
What’s more is, the game’s guide, The Warden, is voiced by Kevin Miller who is known for voicing Sly Cooper in the eponymous PlayStation series as well as cult classic Jet Set Radio.
